5 Embarrassing Situations That Will Make You Want To Enter The Ground

You are probably wondering 'why this topic?'

Well, I saw the most embarrassing thing happen to a lady this morning and I thought to share that experience along with 4 other embarrassing situations.

Remember you can laugh now while reading but it won't be fair to laugh at someone who is actually in the real situation.

Besides, you could just find yourself un the situation and you wouldn't want anyone to laugh, would you?

So lets keep our giggles here, alright?

1) Having your clothes torn in public

So I was on a bus this morning and a lady got into a fight with the conductor.

you know how Lagos conductors could be, so they were exchanging words and the lady was winning,  Woman 2- Conductor 1.

When it was time for her to alight from the bus, she decided to give one last insult you know to finish him.

 I can't really remember the insult she gave because I was actually admiring her short turquoise linen off-shoulder gown and was thinking to myself 'Slim people are really lucky' when the most unlucky thing happened.

As she took her second foot off the bus and was about to walk away from the bus we all hard a loud rip that told us something not nice had happened

A rough metal edge around the bus seat had ripped her gown up to her buttocks, her face froze with a mixture of shock and embarrassment.

And you can guess what happened immediately, the conductor laughed and hurled more insults at her. It was beyond embarrassing.

2) Getting stranded far away from home

Now, this is a personal experience, LOL.

I had just a #100 left with me and figured I was going to make a withdrawal when i got to wear i was going to, considering #100 could take me there with a bike and a cab (#50 is the average cab fare in Ilorin)

So I took a bike from my house and the moment i got to the bus stop I saw a cab and begged the driver to wait because i was in a rush.

I gave the bike man my #100 and beloved whether he didn't give me my change or It slipped from my hand while i was rushing to enter the cab but when we were more than halfway to my destination I saw no #50 with me.

I became restless and searched every part of my bag before it dawned on me that it was missing.

Fear, confusion filled me as i began to think of how i would explain to the man.

Getting to the bus stop I figured i might as well swallow my pride and ask someone.

So I asked a guy who sat at the front, as the people who sat with me at the back didn't seem nice even when i was searching for the money.

The guy didn't even wait to hear my explanation before he gave me #50, it was a nice gesture but I also felt embarrassed because...well because I felt like a "toosh beggar!"

3) Having no clue in the exam and the only person close to you is someone you don't talk to

We have all been in situations where some questions look strange in the exam hall and sometimes all you need to do is ask your friend sitting around you to jug your memory.

That's nothing embarrassing but it becomes embarrassing when the only person around you is someone you don't talk to and as a matter of fact, on a normal day you both won't be found around each other.

In simple words, you both don't like each other.

But because you don't want to fail, you have to swallow your pride and ask!

4)Singing off key with your headset  on

You know how it is a different world in your head when you have a headset on.

You probably feel like you are a rock star and even though you are in public you just can't hold back from singing.

And then you sing along with the thought that you sound perfect and everyone is enjoying your beautiful tone.

Only for someone to tap you and whisper 'guy you dey sing offkey'

You still don't believe until you hear people giggling and see some people looking at you in a way that makes you want to disappear.

5) Strutting around while you are stained

Ladies are most likely familiar with this situation.

At least I am.

There you are feeling your outfit and feeling like a model on the runway!

Because you look so good, you walk almost everywhere, because your fineness cannot waste.

Only for you to get home and take off your dress and discover Sister Flo has done her worst and you start to calculate how long the stain has been there...

'Could i have been strutting around with this blood stain on my backside?' Why didn't anyone tell me?'
