The Intra Party Advisory Committee IPAC in Ogun state has suspended comrade Abayomi Arabambi over gross misconduct as the chairman of the party.
During the inauguration of the disciplinary committee, Surveyor Olusegun Olufemi, Chairman of BNPP was said to have moved a motion of suspension of Comrade Abayomi Arabambi over misconduct while Mr Bola Oyedele, Chairman of PPN seconded the motion after the members of the association supported the motion.
The deputy chairman of the association, Alhaji Moshood Adeshina, who is also the state chairman of Mega Party of Nigeria Ogun State was said to have taken over the elms of the association for the period, Arabambi Abayomi will be investigated by the disciplinary committee who were inaugurated today.
The members of the committee sworn to their various offices by Barrister Gani Ogunsanwo were Comrade Bola Oyedele JP (Elders Consulting Committee), Barrister Kehinde Ogunbiyi (Alternative and Research Committee), Otunba Owolabi Odebudo (Strategic Committee), Surveyor Olusegun Olufemi (Disciplinary Committee) which were said to sweep to action with immediate effect.
Section 3.3C (3) of IPAC constitution said it is the Chairman shall be the chief executive officer of the council, shall summon and precide over all meeting council meeting.
In reaction to the suspension, Arabambi Abayomi said "Any meeting that I did not precide over is non and void, Prince Buruji Kashamu and Prince Dapo Abiodun has offered me money to step down from election petition Tribunal which I said capital NO"
He said, The chairman of Mega Party and chairman of BNPP, Surveyor Olusegun Olufemi were the architect of all the plans, he said their plan today was to murder him during the inaugural meeting based on the security information he got this morning.
He concluded that they don't have power to suspend him as the chairman without following due process.
