Prince John Adegbola, the governorship candidate of the Advanced Allied Party (AAP) during the interactive session with Newsportal reporter boasted that no other contender in the forthcoming Ogun state governorship election could rival his pedigree, youthfulness and energy among other candidates in Yewa Awori.
Prince ADEJOHN has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics Education, B.Sc. (Ed) Mathematics from the University of Uyo (2007); a Professional Certificate in Computing Basics from the Polytechnic, Ibadan (2002); an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, United Kingdom (Assoc. CIPD) 2011; a member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) 2008. He has also attended several seminars, conferences and trainings in Africa and overseas including the United States and United Kingdom.
He was among the 10 runners up in the Goi Peace Foundation (Tokyo, Japan) and UNESCO International Essay Contest for Young People, 2007.
Adegbola who hails from Ado-Odo in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area is a trained teacher, practicing administrative and human resource professional, claimed his roots transverses the Yewa/Awori extraction like no other candidate in the race.
Prince John Olumuyiwa Adegbọla (aka Prince ADEJOHN) is an Abeokuta born native of Ado-Odo in Ado-Odo/Ọta LGA of Ogun State born to Rev. Dr. Julius & Mrs. Elizabeth Adegbola.
His ancestry cuts across the Yewa/Awori extraction of Ogun state with firm roots in Ado-Odo town.
His paternal family house is at Idomegun compound in Ado-Odo, with spread to Ido Ijana, Idalawẹ, Ido Iṣọgọ, Iga Sẹriki and Igasiya. His royal root is of the Igboro ruling house in Ado-Odo (Ọmọ Adegba Ile-Esibi, Ọmọ Ọloja Obiri).
Paternal roots also spread to Iga Arẹ Ogun - Modeolu Quarters of Ilaro, Ọba Okogan ruling house of Iṣaga Orile, Adelẹyẹ Oki family of Ajilete along Idi Iroko Road, Iga Asalu in Ọta and the Agẹmọ family of Ilaali in Igbẹsa.
Maternally, John Adegbọla belongs to the Akapo family in Ido Ofe quarters of Ado-Odo and also Akinde family of Oke Ilobi and Isale Abodo in Ilobi town, Yewa South LGA.
It may also interest you to know that His Royal Highness, the Olu of Imashayi is his great uncle from Akapo family lineage. This was discovered during his courtesy visit to the palace.
