Less than eight days to Nigeria’s general elections, President Muhammadu Buhari has announced the appointment of Engr. Elias Mbam as the chairman of Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). Engr. Elias Mbam hails from Ebonyi State, a South East state.

An unconfirmed report says some politicians from the region were happy about the new appointment because it’s coming at a time some critics of the president accused him of nepotism.
