5 young men have lost their life in a fierce gun battle launched by Unknown Gunmen at Jovit Restaurant in Alakahia Uniport this evening. The Young men were reportedly staffs of Jovit fast food Alakahia uniport and were at their duties when the unexpected attack was launched claiming their life. Residents, Students and Staffs of The University of Port Harcourt around the Alekahia axis has been advised to stay indoors until the coast is clear. The reason for the shootout is unknowm as police are still investigating the whole incident.
From the rumored information gathered, some of the eye witness said they were cult boys who disguised as staff of the fast food during the day. Others said they were just mere workers and was unfortunate to be involved in the shoot out.
Recently a man was killed by people suspected to be hired assassins on Sunday after his car was chased into a Sobaz filling station at Obi Wali Rd, Rumuigbo in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
He was shot dead at point blank range. The bullet went in through his right side and exited from the left side of his face, shattering the skull on the left side of his face.
