. ..Says the outreach will continue if elected in 2019
The Action Democratic Party, ADP, aspirant for member of House of Representatives, Ijebu north, Ijebu East, Ogun waterside federal constituency, Dr Olufemi Tajudeen Sanni has provided over 100 free surgical and medical outreach for the indigents of Ijebu, Ogun State, saying that he would continue with the foundation if elected in 2019.
The ADP candidate also gave free cataract operations as well as free prescription eyeglasses for those in need in partnership with the eye foundation.
Dr Sanni made this known to news men during the medical outreach in Ijebu, Ogun State.
The consultant psychiatrist while speaking to the newsmen said he has passion for the healthy life of the indegenes of Ijebu land.
"It has been part of me to give back to the people that is why my heart is in Nigeria and not in Uk, I love my people so much and am ready to do more for them if elected in 2019.
"Through the Steno Memorial foundation, I have been able to give free health outreaches, free surgeries to indigent sons and daughters of Ijebu, and have also assisted in educational support services, scholarships and quiz competition"
The aspirant who is also the Consultant psychiatrist in United Kingdom and the CEO / Founder Steno Memorial Foundation, noted that the foundation have been able to touch many lives by providing free medical outreach, surgery and mentorship for schools.
According to him "Steno Memorial Foundation is his brainchild, it was setup in memory of his late brother popularly known as (Steno) the foundation was setup over eight years ago and has touched thousands of lives through it's biannual free health outreaches, free surgeries to indigent sons and daughters of Ijebu, educational support services and assistance, scholarships,quiz competitions."
"In partnership with St.Michael-Israel specialist hospital , over 100 free surgical procedures have been provided for indigent of Ijebuland . Ongoing free Cataract operations as well as free Prescription eyeglasses for those in need in partnership with eye foundation."
He stressed that his leadership attributes and mentorship has earned him a following amongst the youth in the communities comprising the Ijebu East, Ijebu North and Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency.
The ADP aspirant also promised to provide credible leadership, enabling environment and qualitative representation for his constituency.
"I will find a lasting solution to the problem of the people, I have heart in Nigeria and I like much people, have left my medical line and joined politics because am not happy with their current condition and that is why have decided to contest for this office so that I can free them from the bondage"
