Honorable Balogun Abiodun Fatai Baf, The Deputy Chief Whip, Eredo LCDA, Lagos state has commiserated with the family of Ayeola over the shocking demise of Mr Abayomi Abdul-Kadir Ayeola, a member of the House of Representatives (APC-Ibeju Lekki Federal Constituency) who died on Sunday at a private hospital in Lagos, after a brief illness.
In a statement released, Hon. Balogun Abiodun Fatai Baf through his chief press secretary, Alao Abiodun described the death of Abayomi Ayeola as a great loss to the family, his constituency, Lagos and Nigeria at large. He, however took consolation on the fact that the late Abayomi Ayeola achieved and left a great legacy behind.
He prayed that God should grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss and comfort them at this time of grief. He further said the deceased would be missed not only by his colleagues at the Green Chambers, but also by members of his family, especially his wife and children, and his friends and associates.
“We will all miss him, I commiserate with his constituent members, his family, especially his wife and children; I pray to God to give them all the fortitude to bear the huge and irreplaceable loss,” he said.
Hon. Balogun Abiodun Fatai Baf further described the late politician as a progressive and seasoned technocrat whose experience and wisdom would be missed. He eulogised him of his immense contributions to economic and socio-political advancement of his constituency stressing that he showed credible community leadership style through commitment, faithfulness and transparency.
