The Federal High Court of Nigeria sitting at court No. 10 in Abuja on Wednesday 1st August, 2018 denied the preservative order (injunction) request filed on 13th July, 2018 by the Adebayo Dayo/Buruji group, seeking that INEC and National body of PDP should accept the Adebayo Dayo led Ex-co, Delegates and Congresses for the 2018 primaries & 2019 general elections.

In his ruling, Hon.  Justice Quadri did not grant the requests.

All pending applications of all parties were adjourned to 16th August 2018 for hearing.

The Lead Counsel to Ogun State PDP, Barr. Edwards Ayo-Odugbesan, on behalf of the Sikirulai Ogundele led Ex-co has also filed a motion to be joined in the case.
the application for joinder shall also be heard on 16th August, 2018.

The Sikirulai Ogundele Exco was confirmed the authentic Ogun PDP Exco by the 2017 congress of the party witnessed by the National body and INEC.

it is worthy to note that both INEC and PDP currently recognise the SIKIRU OGUNDELE EXCO in Ogun State.

meanwhile KANU AGABI SAN & CO HAVE FILED OBJECTIONS TO THE SUIT. The objection stated that by the time and date the case processes were served on PDP and INEC, Buruji, Bayo Dayo and Semiu and Segun Seriki had been expelled from the PDP. Thus, they have to LOCUS to maintain the court action.

The expelled persons has last week, files another new case at the same Federal High Court Abuja challenging their expulsion.
