The founder, Paseda Legacy Foundation, Otunba Rotimi Paseda has enjoined Nigerians to embrace peace and love as Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.

While felicitating with Muslims in Ogun State, the Ogun State UPN Governorship candidate in the 2015 general elections enjoined Muslim faithful to seize the opportunity of the celebration to pray for peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.

He said, lack of love among various ethnic groups and self-aggrandizement are the major factors that threatened peace and tranquility of any developing nation.

According to a release signed by his Director of Media and Strategy, Michael-Azeez Ogunsiji, Paseda stressed that, "Islam preaches love and peace, and that is why I'm using this medium to enjoin our Muslim brothers and sisters to use the occasion to pray for the unity of Nigeria.

"We should submit ourselves and the nation to the hands of God to continue strengthening the peaceful coexistence among Nigerians; and we should also guard ourselves from any actions that may truncate such peaceful coexistence irrespective of our faith, tribe, and cultural belief".

He therefore urged the Muslim faithful to share their resources with their neighbours as a mark of love, as exemplified by Prophet Muhammed (S. A. W) in the Holy Quran.
