According to the organizers, the event will see Obi and Kwankwaso engaging with youths and party faithful across the state and other parts of the Middle Belt as well as highlighting their plans for the zone if elected next year.
Organised by The Middle Belt Youth Council, The Big-Tent, The Obidient Movement and The Kwankwasiyya Movement, the town hall meeting is scheduled to be held at the Gowon Hall, Crispan Hotel, Rayfield, Jos, at 11:00 am.
In a statement made available to journalists, the organisers said the meeting is aimed at providing a platform for engagement with Obi and Kwankwaso, as well as discussions around participation and the role of voters in Nigeria’s democratic process.
The statement said that the organisers have adopted the slogan, “Be There. Talk Your Mind. Our Vote Must Count Now,” which signals a focus on civic engagement and the importance of voters’ voices ahead of future elections.
"The meeting is expected to bring together supporters, youth groups and other stakeholders from Plateau State and the wider Middle Belt region," the statement said.
