The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has announced retired Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) executive, Safriel Glah, as the deputy governorship candidate for Adamawa State in the 2027 election.
Glah was unveiled alongside the party’s governorship candidate, Abdulrahman Haske, at a media briefing in Abuja on Monday.
The party said the ticket was designed to merge Haske’s private-sector entrepreneurship with Glah’s decades of public-sector and oil industry experience.
Haske described the choice as strategic, citing Glah’s competence, integrity, and proven record of service.
“In Safriel Glah, we have found a partner whose distinguished career embodies excellence, discipline, professionalism and selfless service,” he said.
Glah, who retired after 34 years in the oil and gas sector as NNPCL’s General Manager for Environment, Health, Safety and Environment, is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
She is recognized for her work in sustainability, leadership development, and community service.Accepting the nomination, Glah pledged loyalty and dedication to the ticket, promising to support Haske in promoting inclusive development, accountability, and sustainable progress.
“I am ready to listen, ready to work and ready to serve,” she affirmed.APM leaders, including National Chairman Yusuf Dantalle and Adamawa State Chairman Badejo Bello, praised the Haske-Glah ticket as a blend of private-sector innovation and public-sector expertise.
They said the team would focus on economic growth, effective governance, and inclusive development ahead of the 2027 polls.
