_Archbishop-Designate Isaac Idahosa (PHD) Says Church Will Celebrate God’s Faithfulness with Impact on the Less Privileged and a New Dawn of Expansion_

LEKKI, LAGOS – August 2026 – God First Ministry International_ is set to mark its _37th founding anniversary_ with a powerful two-day lineup of activities that will combine charity outreach to the less privileged, a grand thanksgiving service, and the Ground Breaking Ceremony of its proposed Five Thousand Church Auditorium

The anniversary celebration, themed _“…THE LORD HAS MADE ROOM FOR US”_, is scheduled to hold at the _New Dawn Centre, opposite White House, Gedegede, Ikota First Gate Bus Stop, Lekki, Lagos_.

Announcing the program, the Founder of the ministry, _Archbishop-Designate Isaac Idahosa, PhD_, said the decision to mark the milestone with both service to humanity and worship was borne out of gratitude to God for sustaining the church for nearly four decades.

According to _H.E Archbishop Idahosa_, “We have come a long way as a piece in the Body of Christ in the last 37 years since we have been working in the Lord’s vineyard, and we have a lot to be thankful for. This is why we have decided to reach out to the less privileged in society through the charity programme we have carefully planned to see how we can contribute our quota to ameliorating their sufferings by reaching out to them as a body of Christ.”

The Archbishop noted that the charity component will see the church extending food items, welfare support, and other forms of assistance to vulnerable individuals and families within the Lekki axis and surrounding communities. He explained that God First Ministry has always prioritized both the spiritual and physical well-being of people, and the 37th anniversary provides another opportunity to demonstrate Christ’s love in practical terms.

#### *A NEW DAWN: GROUNDBREAKING OF 5,000-SEATER AUDITORIUM*

As part of the anniversary, New Dawn Centre will host the *Ground Breaking Ceremony* of the church’s proposed *5,000-Seater Auditorium* on _Sunday, 30th August 2026 at 5:00PM_.

The modern, spacious facility, with a bold cross at the entrance, symbolizes the ministry’s mandate to raise worshippers and impact the nation. The 5,000-seater capacity is aimed at accommodating the church’s growing congregation and creating a hub for worship, conferences, leadership training, and outreach programs.

Speaking on the project, _H.E. Archbishop Isaac Idahosa, PhD_ described it as a fulfillment of God’s promise and a step of faith into greater enlargement. “This new auditorium will serve not just as a place of worship, but as a center for community development and kingdom advancement,” he said.

The groundbreaking comes on the same day as the ministry’s _37th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service_, making August 30th a double celebration of gratitude for God’s faithfulness and faith for the future.

#### *THANKSGIVING SERVICE & MINISTRATIONS*

The thanksgiving service, the high point of the celebration, will hold on _Sunday, 30th August 2026_ with two sessions at _6:00AM and 6:00PM_. The services are expected to draw members, friends of the ministry, and well-wishers from across Lagos and beyond.

Ministering alongside the host, _H.E. Archbishop Isaac Idahosa PhD_, are renowned gospel ministers _Psalm 100_, _Israel Folarin_, the church’s choir _New Dawn Voices_, and _Illumination Voice_. Church officials said the services will feature intense praise, worship, testimonies, and prophetic declarations to commemorate God’s faithfulness over the ministry in the last 37 years.

Founded 37 years ago, God First Ministry International has grown into a vibrant ministry known for its emphasis on prayer, the Word, and practical Christianity. Over the years, the church has been involved in evangelism, humanitarian work, and leadership development, with a mandate to raise believers who put God first in every area of life.

Archbishop Idahosa said the theme _“…THE LORD HAS MADE ROOM FOR US”_ reflects the journey of the ministry — from humble beginnings to a place of influence and impact. He added that the anniversary is a prophetic reminder that God continues to enlarge the coast of the ministry and its members.

Beyond his pastoral work, _H.E Archbishop Isaac Idahosa_ served as the _2023 NNPP Vice-Presidential Candidate_ to His Excellency, _Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso_. He is presently a _Patron to Kwankwaso National Network (KNN)_, the _Edo South Senatorial Caucus Leader, NDC_, and a _Member of the National Reconciliation Committee, NDC_.

The church has called on members and friends to come out in their numbers for the two-day celebration.

With 37 years of ministry behind it, God First Ministry International says it is entering a new season of expansion, and the anniversary celebration is positioned as both a time of remembrance and a launchpad for greater kingdom impact.
