As eminent statesman, veteran journalist, and former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Aremo Olusegun Osoba, marked his 87th birthday, tributes poured in from across Ogun State and beyond, with political leaders, community stakeholders, and admirers celebrating his remarkable contributions to governance, democracy, and national development.
Joining the chorus of goodwill messages, Hon. Amb. Adekunle Ajayi Abdul-Lateef, Councillor representing Owode Ward 3 in Obafemi-Owode Local Government and an aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Obafemi-Owode State Constituency, led the people of Owode Ward 3 in paying glowing tribute to the elder statesman, describing him as "a beacon of wisdom, a father to many, and one of the finest leaders Ogun State has ever produced."
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the entire people of Owode Ward 3, Hon. Ajayi said Chief Osoba's 87th birthday is not merely the celebration of another year, but a celebration of an extraordinary life dedicated to selfless service, principled leadership, and the advancement of society.
According to him, Chief Osoba's decades of commitment to public service have earned him a permanent place in the history of Ogun State and Nigeria, adding that his influence continues to shape political leadership and governance across generations.
