Prominent cleric *Bishop Desmond Osazuwa Amasihohu* has released a prophetic declaration concerning the political future of Nigeria, stating that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential election and serve out a second term until 2031*.
In a statement titled _“PRESIDENT TINUBU WINS 2027 — HE WILL BE THERE TILL 2031. NO OTHER PERSON IS GOING THERE,”_ the Bishop said he was speaking _“not as a politician, but as a watchman.”_
According to Bishop Osazuwa, the message was borne out of spiritual conviction and scriptural alignment.
_“My people, hear me well. I am not speaking as a politician. I am speaking as a watchman. And the Spirit of the Lord is saying concerning Nigeria: ‘I have set my seal upon this season,’”_ he wrote.
He went further to state:
_“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential election. He will complete his second term and he will be there till 2031. No other person is going there. This is not wishful thinking. This is not party talk. This is the hard Truth.”_
Citing scripture to back his position, the Bishop referenced *Daniel 4:17* — _“The Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever He will”_ — and *Psalm 75:6-7* — _“For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.”_
In the article, Bishop Osazuwa outlined three reasons for the declaration.
First, _“The Mandate Must Be Completed.”_ _“The reforms that started in 2023 were not meant for 4 years alone. Foundations are being laid now for what Nigeria will eat from for the next 20 years. God does not start a building and abandon it halfway,”_ he said, referencing *Philippians 1:6*.
Second, _“Divine Positioning.”_ He argued that Nigeria needs stability to attract investment, address security challenges, and reset the economy. _“God will not hand over a half-built house to another tenant in 2027. The man with the blueprint will finish the work.”_
Third, _“The Voice of the People Will Align.”_ The cleric projected that by 2027, citizens will begin to see results from current policies. _“The pains of today will turn to testimonies. And a grateful nation will say: ‘Let him finish the job,’”_ he stated, citing *Ecclesiastes 3:1* on seasons and timing.
Bishop Osazuwa also broke down what he described as the prophetic timeline for the country.
For *2025-2027*, he said it will be a period of _“Consolidation of reforms. Economy stabilizes. Infrastructure accelerates.”_
For *2027-2031*, he described it as _“Harvest season. The seeds of today become food, jobs, and prosperity for tomorrow.”_
He added that political opposition will not succeed: _“No distractions. Every gang-up, every coalition, every noise will fail. Because No other person is going there.”_
He quoted *Proverbs 19:21*: _“There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.”_
The Bishop called on Nigerians, especially the Church, to align with what he described as God’s plan for the nation.
He urged: _“Stop fighting God’s plan. Pray for the man in power instead of cursing him”_ — *1 Timothy 2:1-2*
He also said: _“Prepare for the next 6 years. Position yourself, your business, your family for what God is about to do.”_
And _“Watch and Pray. The enemy will try to cause confusion. But we decree peace over this nation.”_
The statement ended with a prayer:
_“Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank You because You are the one who enthrones kings. We decree that Your will for Nigeria will stand. Let every opposition scatter. Let wisdom, strength, and health be upon President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to complete the assignment. Let Nigeria experience peace, progress, and prosperity from 2025 till 2031. Every contrary voice is silenced now. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.”_
In his closing remarks, Bishop Osazuwa urged Nigerians to take note of the declaration.
_“Mark this down. Write it. President Tinubu wins 2027. He will be there till 2031. No other person is going there. This is the hard Truth. Nigeria will be great again. And we will live to see it. Shalom.”_
