As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, prominent Ogun State stakeholder and public affairs advocate, Prince Temitope Kasali, popularly known as KASTOPEE, has publicly declared his support for the governorship aspiration of Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), describing the decision as an investment in the future development and prosperity of Ogun State.
In a detailed public statement titled "Why I Stand with Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI): An Investment in the New Ogun We All Deserve," Kasali said the forthcoming election presents residents of Ogun State with a significant opportunity to determine the direction of the state's future through informed and responsible leadership choices.
According to him, elections should be driven by competence, integrity, vision, and a verifiable record of public service rather than emotions or political rhetoric.
"The destiny of a people is not determined by chance, but by the wisdom of the choices they make when history presents them with an opportunity," he stated.
Kasali noted that his endorsement of Senator Adeola transcends partisan politics, emphasizing that it is rooted in his confidence in the senator's leadership capacity, experience, and commitment to public service.
He described Senator Adeola as a leader whose years in legislative service have demonstrated consistency, accessibility, and dedication to improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
According to him, the senator's interventions in education, youth empowerment, healthcare delivery, infrastructure development, and community-based projects have earned him widespread public confidence and established a reputation for impactful representation.
Kasali argued that leadership should ultimately be assessed by measurable achievements and tangible improvements in the welfare of the people rather than campaign promises alone.
He further stressed that Ogun State requires leadership capable of balancing experience with innovation while fostering inclusive governance that benefits all citizens regardless of political affiliation.

Beyond the governorship contest, Kasali also expressed support for the possibility of the incumbent Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, representing Ogun East Senatorial District in the National Assembly after the completion of his tenure as governor.
According to him, Abiodun's experience in governance would remain valuable to the state and could strengthen Ogun's representation at the federal level.
He described the combination of Senator Adeola's governorship and Abiodun's possible senatorial representation as one capable of providing continuity, stability, institutional experience, and progressive governance for Ogun State.
Kasali also used the opportunity to encourage eligible voters across the state to actively participate in the democratic process.
He urged citizens who are yet to obtain their Permanent Voter's Cards (PVCs) to do so, emphasizing that democratic participation remains one of the strongest instruments for determining the quality of governance.
