...Motor Show,Infrastructure Showcase to Spotlight Renewed Hope Milestones in Abuja
Abuja is set to witness a remarkable convergence of leadership, innovation, and national pride as NIIJA Auto Sports (NAS) hosts a grand National Motor Show and Road Infrastructure Showcase in honour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday.
Scheduled for Sunday, 29th March 2026 at the National Stadium, Abuja, the event is positioned as both a celebration of statesmanship and a demonstration of Nigeria’s evolving economic and infrastructural landscape under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
At the heart of the celebration is the pivotal role of the Grand Patron of NIJA Auto Sports, Abdulrasheed Maina, whose foresight, resilience, and commitment to national development have been instrumental in driving the vision and scale of this landmark event. His leadership has ensured that the celebration not only honours the President but also reflects Nigeria’s growing industrial capacity and unity of purpose.
Under the leadership of NAS President, Dr. Zara Abubakar, the event will highlight the transformation within Nigeria’s automobile sector, particularly the shift toward local production and assembly, an achievement widely attributed to strategic policy direction under President Tinubu.
The celebration will also shine a spotlight on ongoing infrastructural advancements across the country, with particular emphasis on developments within the Federal Capital Territory under the stewardship of Nyesom Wike. A ceremonial drive across Abuja will serve as a symbolic showcase of progress in road construction, urban lighting, and enhanced city security.
Dignitaries expected at the event include prominent national figures such as Abdulaziz Yari, Caleb Muftwang, Ayodele Olawande, Aminu Yusuf, Oluwenimo Joseph Osanipin, and Shehu Dikko, among others.
Organisers describe the event as more than a ceremonial gathering—it is a national statement of appreciation, reflecting collective confidence in Nigeria’s direction and the enduring impact of purposeful leadership.
The programme will feature goodwill messages from select speakers and a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony, uniting attendees in a shared message: “Happy 74th Birthday, Mr. President.”
As anticipation builds, stakeholders across political, business, and civic spheres have been called upon to participate in what promises to be a defining moment of celebration, reflection, and national unity.
Indeed, this event stands not merely as a tribute, but as a reaffirmation of Nigeria’s progress driven by leadership, strengthened by collaboration, and sustained by a shared vision for the future.
