The Youth Ambassador for Positive Impact Foundation (YAPI Foundation) on Wednesday, January 8, 2026, launched a commemorative brochure titled “Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka: The Symbol of Hope and Transparency” in recognition of the lawmaker’s contributions to good governance and grassroots development.
The event, which also featured an award presentation ceremony, was held at Dalemo, Alakuko, Ogun State, and attracted political leaders, traditional rulers, party stakeholders, youth groups and community members from Ifo and Ewekoro Federal Constituency.
Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka, the Deputy Chief Whip of the Federal House of Representatives, is seeking re-election ahead of the 2027 general elections. The occasion served as both a celebration of his legislative achievements and a show of support for his continued representation.
Dignitaries present at the event included Chief Sina Adegbenro, Hon. Abiodun Adeleye; Hon. Ademosun, former Commissioner in Ogun State; Hon. Kunle Adegboyega, popularly known as Texaco, former Member of the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ewekoro State Constituency; Hon. Iskilu Makinde, former Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government; Hon. Kikelomo Delana, former Chairman of Ifo Local Government; and Hon. Sherif Ganiu, among other notable leaders from Ifo and Ewekoro Federal Constituency.
Also seated at the high table were Hon. Derin Adebiyi; Hon. Alani Ayodeji (GOCO); Alhaji Abidoye Amosun; His Royal Majesty, Oba Shodipo; senior legislative aides; and government liaison officers from Ifo and Ewekoro.
Chairman of the occasion, Chief Okeowo Oderinde, FCA, in his goodwill message, commended YAPI Foundation for initiating the brochure launch, describing it as a timely and worthy tribute to a leader of proven integrity.
Chief Okeowo described Rt. Hon. Isiaka as a selfless and people-oriented leader with a deep commitment to grassroots development.
“I can confidently tell you that Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka is a grassroots politician who listens to his people and loves them more than himself. He has put structures in place to ensure that Ifo and Ewekoro are progressing. He is a leader who genuinely wants his people to be happy at all times and is truly worth celebrating for his selfless service to humanity,” he said.
Rt. Hon. Isiaka, who was unavoidably absent, was represented by Hon. Tunde Yinusa. In his remarks, Yinusa expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of YAPI Foundation for their consistent support and recognition of the lawmaker’s impactful governance.
He noted that Rt. Hon. Isiaka’s role as Deputy Chief Whip at the Federal House of Representatives places him in a strategic position to attract meaningful development to Ifo and Ewekoro Federal Constituency.
“With the leadership responsibility he currently holds at the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka deserves another term to consolidate on his achievements and deliver more dividends of democracy to the people,” he stated.
The event ended on a high note, with participants praising YAPI Foundation for promoting positive leadership values and encouraging transparency, accountability and youth participation in governance, The brochure was launched in the presence of everyone at the event.
