Over the years, Hon. Amuzu has consistently placed people at the center of development. His interventions have brought relief and renewed hope to widows across communities, putting smiles on faces that governance often overlooks. Through targeted empowerment programs, he has supported small-scale traders with funds to strengthen their businesses, helping families sustain livelihoods and grow local economies.
Understanding the urgency of youth unemployment, Hon. Amuzu took decisive steps by distributing kiosks to jobless graduates—creating opportunities for self-reliance and productivity. Rather than leaving young people idle on the streets, these initiatives have encouraged entrepreneurship, dignity of labor, and community stability.
Access to clean water remains a critical issue in many parts of Abeokuta South. Demonstrating foresight and commitment, Hon. Amuzu facilitated the drilling of over 45 borehole projects across grassroots communities. These projects have significantly reduced water scarcity, improved public health, and eased the daily burden on households—especially women and children.
Education has also been a cornerstone of his service. By providing education grants to secondary school and university students, Hon. Amuzu has helped ease the financial strain on parents while ensuring that students can focus on learning and self-development. This investment in human capital is an investment in the future of Abeokuta South.
