In a display of political maturity and statesmanship, the Okanlomo of Ibadanland, Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi, has extended warm felicitations to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.
Senator Akanbi, in his goodwill message, described Governor Makinde as a resilient leader whose tenure has marked a distinct chapter in the state’s democratic journey. He acknowledged the Governor’s visible contributions to infrastructural renewal, education, and youth development across Oyo State, stating that true progress stems from collaboration, not division.
“As you mark this new age, I join millions of well-wishers to celebrate your life, your service to the people of Oyo State, and your commitment to a better future. May wisdom and strength continue to guide your path,” Akanbi noted.
He further called on all Oyo sons and daughters, regardless of political leaning to continue to work for peace, unity, and good governance in the state.
