Ewekoro Women Leaders Rally Behind Rep. Isiaka, Pledge Unwavering Support

In a remarkable show of political solidarity and grassroots strength, prominent female leaders from Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State, on Tuesday, paid a high-powered solidarity visit to the Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka, at his residence, declaring their unwavering support for his leadership and political vision.


The delegation, made up of influential women leaders, seasoned grassroots mobilizers, and respected community figures drawn from across the wards in Ewekoro, described the visit as a reaffirmation of their loyalty and confidence in Rep. Isiaka’s representation and commitment to inclusive governance.


The women were led by the Group President, Alhaja Hon. Mrs. Abisola Nurat Aliyu, Vice Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government and Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ogun Central Senatorial District, from Obada Ward.












Other notable members of the delegation included Alhaja Mrs. Ganiya Shobande (Wasimi Ward), Hon. Mrs. Shomorin Rukayat Amope (Owowo Ward), Mrs. Jemilat Ogundare (Obada Oko), Mrs. Hassan Modinat Ayoka (Arigbajo Ward), Alhaja Ganiyat Adeniji and Alhaja Fatimat Amoo (Papa Ward), Hon. Mrs. Oluranti Ogunkoya (Elere-Onigbedu Ward), Mrs. Omolara Famuyiwa (Arigbajo Ward), Alhaja Adeniji Arike (Wasimi Ward), Mrs. Kudirat Yinusa (Mosan Ward), as well as Mrs. Kudirat Awesu and Mrs. Abosede Ibrahim from Itori Ward.


Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Alhaja Hon. Mrs. Nurat Abisola Aliyu praised Rt. Hon. Isiaka for his people-oriented leadership, accessibility, and consistent delivery of democratic dividends to Ewekoro and the larger Ogun Central constituency. She highlighted his support for women’s participation in politics and governance, noting that his inclusive approach has further strengthened the confidence of women leaders at the grassroots.


According to her, “The women of Ewekoro are solidly behind Rt. Hon. Isiaka because he has demonstrated genuine commitment to the welfare of our people. His leadership style is inclusive, and his impact is visible across our communities. We are here to assure him of our total and continued support.”


Responding, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka expressed deep appreciation for the visit, describing it as both humbling and encouraging. He noted that the show of unity and support from women leaders across Ewekoro serves as a strong motivation to intensify his efforts in promoting inclusive development, effective representation, and greater gender participation in governance.

The visit concluded on a warm and celebratory note, marked by cordial interactions, shared prayers, and a renewed resolve by both the lawmaker and the women leaders to strengthen political collaboration and unity ahead of future political engagements in Ewekoro Local Government and beyond.
