As Nigeria continues to navigate deep political and social challenges, the President of the Oduduwa Integrity Association, Evangelist/Hon. Omotoso Banji, has made a heartfelt plea to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging him to listen more closely to spiritual and moral counsel.
Speaking with unusual candor, Banji said the president appears surrounded by growing pressure—political shifts, public frustration, and internal party tension. He described these pressures as “forces rising against your government,” adding that Tinubu himself is not the cause but must recognize what is happening around him.
Banji, sounding both worried and empathetic, expressed disappointment that President Tinubu has not fully considered warnings from religious leaders. He reminded the president that even the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, shares pastoral responsibilities and understands spiritual matters deeply.
“President Tinubu, why are you not listening to men of God—whether people call them fake or real?” Banji asked.
“Look around you. Can’t you see the forces coming? Many who are rushing into the APC today will eventually abandon you when the real problems arise.”
He compared the government’s current situation to building a strong house on shaky ground, cautioning that no administration can stand firmly without acknowledging its spiritual foundation.
“You are trying to build a strong government on an empty state,” he warned.
“Unless the glory is returned from God, the nation cannot stand. This is a message from the Lord of Hosts.”
He added that For the past 30 years, no government build any tangible thing. How can they build on an empty ground.? Nigeria is empty and unless, the glory is returned from God we will continue to be in shambles and in chaos.
Banji stressed that his concerns are not motivated by personal interest or financial reward.
“Mr. President, I don’t need your money,” he said softly.
“I am only speaking because I love this nation and I do not want to watch it drift.”
His comments come at a time when Nigeria faces rising economic hardship, insecurity, and shifting political alliances—circumstances that have left many citizens anxious about the country’s direction.
In his message, Banji appealed not just to Tinubu’s authority as president, but to his humanity, urging him to pause, reflect, and seek guidance beyond politics.
