Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have dealt a significant blow to terrorist operations in Borno State, neutralizing four logistics suppliers affiliated with Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in a series of coordinated ambushes in Konduga Local Government Area.
The operations, conducted on October 25, 2025, under Operation Desert Sanity IV/Diligent Search, targeted key terrorist crossing points at Kukauku, Delta Company Kawuri, and Alou Dam.
Military sources confirmed on Monday that the ambushes were executed with precision, resulting in no casualties among the troops.At approximately 11:35 a.m., soldiers from the 222 Battalion struck at Kuka Uku crossing point in Delta Company Kawuri, neutralizing one ISWAP logistics supplier.
Simultaneously, a second ambush team near Charlie Company in Konduga LGA eliminated another supplier. In a third operation, troops positioned at a crossing point in Alpha Company, Alou Dam, took out two additional logistics operatives.
The neutralized individuals were confirmed to be members of Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad (JAS) and ISWAP, key factions responsible for insurgent activities in Nigeria’s North-East.
The ambushes are part of ongoing clearance and interdiction efforts aimed at disrupting terrorist supply chains and restricting their movements across the region.
Military sources described the security situation in Konduga as calm but unpredictable, with troops maintaining high morale and combat readiness.
The successful operations shows the Nigerian military’s commitment to dismantling terrorist networks and restoring stability in Borno State, a longtime hotspot for insurgency.
