The Reigning Monarch of the United Kingdom of Atlantis, His Excellency Emperor Solomon Uchenna Winings, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, the revered Nigerian evangelist and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association (UUEA).
In a moving tribute released from the Royal Palace, Emperor Winings described Rev. Ukpai as “a divine instrument, a prophet of purpose, and one of the greatest voices of revival to emerge from Africa.” He lauded the late cleric’s enduring contributions to the growth of Christianity in Nigeria and beyond, noting that his ministry left “footprints of faith across continents.”
“Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai was not merely a preacher; he was a living embodiment of God’s grace and mercy. His message of salvation, healing, and hope touched millions. He helped restore moral values, strengthen faith, and inspire a generation of believers to walk boldly with God,” the Emperor said.
The Monarch emphasized that Rev. Ukpai’s transition marks a monumental loss, not only to his family and followers but also to Akwa Ibom State, his birthplace, and the South East region, where his Christian journey began. However, he noted that the loss transcends regional boundaries.
“This is not only a loss to Akwa Ibom, his beloved home state, nor merely to the South East where his divine calling took root. It is a loss to Nigeria, to Africa, and indeed to the entire body of Christ around the world. Rev. Uma Ukpai belonged to everyone — his message knew no borders, his love reached every heart,” Emperor Winings declared.
He extended heartfelt condolences to Rev. Dr. Mrs. Philomena Uma Ukpai, the children, the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, and all who were touched by the evangelist’s ministry.
“To the family and faithful congregation of this great man of God, I extend my royal sympathies. May the Almighty grant you the strength to bear this great loss, and may the peace of the Holy Spirit comfort you. Though his earthly race has ended, his spiritual influence will continue to shine as a guiding light,” the Emperor stated.
