Ewekoro, Ogun State – August 19, 2025 – The Ewekoro Local Government has marked a significant milestone in its commitment to education and community development with the commissioning of two new classrooms and a modern town hall. The event was graced by notable dignitaries including the Honorable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat, and various local leaders and stakeholders.
Addressing the gathering, the Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Adesina, expressed his deep gratitude to the people of the community and highlighted the importance of the newly commissioned facilities located at the Methodist Primary School in Abese and the Morden Town Hall in Mosan. “Today, we are not only commissioning projects; we are celebrating visionary leadership and purposeful governance,” he remarked, praising the efforts of Ogun State Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, for his dedication to grassroots development.
The classrooms, designed to enhance the learning environment for local children, are expected to significantly improve academic outcomes in the area. Adesina urged teachers, parents, and stakeholders in the education sector to embrace the vision of the local government to ensure that every child in public schools receives the best education possible. “This is a collective effort and responsibility that we must all partake in,” he emphasized.

During his speech, Adesina called upon the residents of Mosan ward to take pride in these new developments, reminding them that the town hall and classroom block are community assets that require proper maintenance and stewardship.
