Isara, Ogun State – The Chairman of Amoran in Ogun State, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, joined other dignitaries on Tuesday at the campaign rally for the August 16 by-election in Remo Federal Constituency. The event, held at Isara, Oke-Odo, and Ipara, saw strong mobilisation for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Princess Adesola Ayoola-Elegbeji.
Speaking at the rally, Otunba Sokoya urged constituents to support the APC and its candidate, Princess Ayoola-Elegbeji, emphasising the party's commitment to development and effective representation. He called on voters to turn out en masse on election day to secure victory for the APC.
The by-election, scheduled for August 16, will determine the next representative for Remo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. The APC is intensifying efforts to rally support for its candidate ahead of the crucial poll.
Other party leaders and stakeholders also addressed the gathering, expressing confidence in the APC's chances and appealing for unity among members to ensure success at the polls.
