
The academic community of Prince Abubakar Audu University, previously Kogi State University, Anyigba, is reeling from the sudden death of Dr. Olabode Abimbola Ibikunle, a lecturer at the institution.
Unconfirmed reports circulating on social media claim Dr. Ibikunle passed away during a private encounter with a 200-level female student at a hotel in Anyigba.
Sources allege the lecturer died during an intimate moment, described by some as “active bedroom service.”
While the department of the lecturer and the student remains unverified, images of Dr. Ibikunle have spread online, sparking widespread discussion. The student’s identity has not been disclosed.
The female student is reportedly in police custody as authorities investigate the incident.
Neither Prince Abubakar Audu University nor the Kogi State Police Command has released an official statement at this time.
