Construction of the 2,000-unit Renewed Hope Housing Estate in Lambu, Kano State, is in full swing, marking a significant milestone in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Housing Programme.

The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, is driving the initiative to address Nigeria’s housing deficit, with the Kano project among the flagship developments.

The programme includes the construction of 250-unit Renewed Hope Estates in 12 states across Nigeria’s six geo-political zones. Additionally, seven Renewed Hope Cities are being developed, one in each geo-political zone and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The Kano, Lagos, and FCT cities are at advanced stages, while projects in the North East, North Central, South South, and South East zones are set to commence soon.Images from the Lambu site showcase ongoing work, reflecting the government’s commitment to delivering affordable housing.

The initiative aims to boost economic growth and improve living standards, aligning with President Tinubu’s vision for sustainable urban development. Further updates on the nationwide rollout are expected as the projects progress.
