Ajibade, whose leadership and attacking brilliance proved crucial, was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. Chiamaka Nnadozie, ever-reliable in goal, earned the Best Goalkeeper award, while Madugu’s tactical nous and calm leadership saw him named Coach of the Tournament.


Despite Nigeria’s triumph, Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak secured the Golden Boot with five goals, and South Africa walked away with the Fair Play Award.
