Governor Dapo Abiodun, ex-governor Otunba Gbenga Daniel, and Senator Solomon Adeola have marked Easter with messages of hope and unity for Nigerians. Each leader underscored the importance of emulating Christ’s sacrifice and supporting President Tinubu’s vision for the country.
Abiodun called Easter “a time-honoured tradition that symbolises renewal and hope,” urging Christians to pray for the government and fellow citizens. He reaffirmed the state’s commitment to development.
Daniel highlighted Easter’s message of love and renewal, urging Nigerians to “recommit themselves to joining hands with the government of President Tinubu to lift the country far and above its challenges.”
Senator Adeola stressed the need for continued prayers and support for the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, calling on citizens to “imbibe the virtues of sacrifice, patience, love, and abiding faith for a better tomorrow.”
April 18 and 21 have been declared public holidays for Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively, as Nigeria celebrates Easter 2025.
