In a shocking turn of events, Nurudeen Abolaji, the Community Development Association (CDA) Chairman of Ipaja Ayobo and a chairmanship aspirant for the upcoming local government elections, has been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force for allegedly assaulting an elderly man identified as Alhaji Akojede in the community.

Eyewitnesses report that the incident occurred earlier today when Abolaji attempted to block a drainage constructed at the behest of the local government.
