AMORAN Inaugurates Additional Executives To Strengthen Union Leadership

Abeokuta, Ogun State – The Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) marked a significant milestone today with the inauguration of five additional state executive members at a well-attended meeting held at the association’s headquarters in Adatan, Abeokuta.




The event, which took place amidst a warm atmosphere of camaraderie and anticipation, saw the State Chairman, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya popularly known as DANKU officiated the swearing-in ceremony. The newly appointed executives, who were selected for their dedication and service to the association, include Mr. Idowu Olumide as the Assistant Welfare Officer, Mrs. Kemi Ayodeji as a Member, Mr. Arikuwusola Kazeem as the Assistant Auditor, Mr. Adesina Ajibade as the Legal Adviser, and Mrs. Funmi Fadipe as a Member.




In his opening remarks, Chairman Otunba Taofeek Sokoya popularly known as DANKU emphasized the importance of leadership within the association, highlighting how the new executives will play a pivotal role in promoting the welfare and rights of motorcycle owners and riders across the state. “Today marks not just a change in leadership but a renewed commitment to our mission of ensuring that every motorcycle owner and rider is represented and supported,” he stated.

The ceremony was graced by branch chairmen and other executive members, all of whom gathered to witness the transition of leadership. Each newly sworn-in member expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to serve and their commitment to advancing the goals of AMORAN. Mr. Olumide, the newly appointed Assistant Welfare Officer, vowed to prioritize the needs and concerns of the members, ensuring that their voices are heard within the larger framework of the association.




Mrs. Ayodeji, speaking on behalf of her colleagues, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming challenges and the collective strength of the team. “Together, we will foster unity and drive positive change within our ranks. Our aim is to ensure that every member feels valued and supported,” she declared.



The gathering concluded with a reception where members shared ideas and strategies to further strengthen the association. The new executives are expected to hit the ground running, implementing initiatives designed to enhance member engagement and support services.



As AMORAN embarks on this new chapter with its renewed leadership, the association looks forward to a future marked by growth, unity, and progress for all motorcycle owners and riders in Nigeria.
