Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom and Ogun PDP chieftain, Chief Olumide Aderinokun congratulates every member of the Peoples’ Democratic Party in Ogun State and newly-elected executives for the successful conduct of the state congress on Saturday, September 28.
Chief Aderinokun who was present at the State Congress that took place inside the Legacy Hall of Abeokuta Sports Club, applauded every stakeholder of the party for the unity and fair play recorded in the Congress from ward to state level.
In a statement through his media aide, Chief Aderinokun encouraged members to be steadfast and be ready to support the leadership of Hon. Abayomi Tella, the newly-elected chairman of Ogun PDP.
“The strength of Ogun PDP is in the unity of our members across all 20 local government areas, so the success of the congress proves that we are still one family,” Chief Aderinokun said.
“I congratulate every stakeholder, every member in Ogun PDP for their conduct during the entire process from the ward congress on August 24th to state congress on September 28th.
“What we have seen in the past four weeks is a statement of unity, and members are undeterred by any distractions in any form.”
The Ogun Central chieftain also felicitated Hon. Abayomi Tella on his emergence as the new State chairman and he advised the newly-executives to work in unison for the success of PDP in Ogun State.
“I congratulate Hon. Abayomi Tella and all the new executives on their election but they have a responsibility to strengthen the party’s unity and set the path for our success,” he added.
“It might be a long ride but every member must now throw their weight behind the newly executives for the forthcoming local government elections and the national congress.”
