The Bill seeking to repeal the National Planning Commission Act has passed through the second reading at the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja.
This Bill seeks to repeal the National Planning Commission Act; make provisions for an effective and comprehensive legal and institutional framework for national planning and budget implementation; and ensure greater accountability and transparency in fiscal operations.
The Bill was moved by Rt. Hon Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka, the house of Representative member, Ifo-Ewekoro federal Constituency, Ogun state.
