Akintola Williams, Nigeria’s first indigenous chartered accountant, is dead.
Williams died on Monday at the age of 104.
He celebrated his 104th birthday on August 9.
He was a pioneer of Nigeria’s accounting profession and played a significant role in developing the country’s financial sector.
