    Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso contested for President of Federal Republic of Nigeria under New Nigeria People's Party, NNPP in 2023 and he lost to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on February 25th general election. 

    Sen. Adesoji Rilwan Akanbi is a strong loyalist and ally of Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu and one of the brain behind South West Agenda 23 for actualization of Tinubu's agenda to become the president of Nigeria.
