A renowned grassroots politician and philanthropist, Prince Amb (Dr)Adedipe Dauda Ewenla, has presented himself to indigenes and residents of Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State, as the next House of Representatives hopeful, to represent the constituency in 2023 at the national assembly.
Ewenla, a Master’s holder in security and safety from Irgib African University, and also a renowned surveyor of repute and a security consultant, has undying passion for humanity, among other things.
As a philanthropist, he has offered free computer training and many hand works training for all and sundry in the local government.
Owing to his philanthropic gesture and for being a grassroots politician, he has bagged notable chieftaincy titles, which include, Ajagun-nla of Ojokoro, Aremo Ijako Orile, Ajagungbade of Itori Oke Egba land, Apase Itage of ANTP, Balogun Adinni Al Wasilat Islamic Foundation and Arowosadinni of Abule-Egba respectively.
In the academic world, Amb. Ewenla, had carved a niche for himself academically.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in safety and safety. Irgib African University, Bachelor’s , Specialist Certificate in Corperate industrial Security Unilag, Advance Diploma in Security Operations management, Unilag, Diploma in Security Operation management, Unilag, OND in Estate management Yabatech. Diploma in-law Lagos state University (Lasu) Police training School Ikeja (PTS), Keke high School Ijaiye Housing Estate, Agege, Bishop Oluwole memorial Primary School Agege. And still schooling
He was honoured with a prestigious Doctor of Science (D.Sc Hon) in Management and Corporate Governance (Honoris Causa), by the Senate, Award Committee of European American University and Outstanding Leadership Recognition and Inspirational Leadership Excellence Award in West Africa, respectively.
In the area of skills, he has become a reference point to many people. His skills include excellent knowledge of state and federal information security laws, proven proficiency in developing security protocols and procedures, exceptional managerial skills and the ability to lead a team and economy, proficiency in information management systems and knowledge of cyber-security, ability to research and stay up to date with security trends, as well as changing government and state laws, ability to manage the security team by training and coaching employees, ability to be Chief Security Officer, estate developer and real estate, land surveyor and layout and perimeter survey expert.
He has equally, held several positions, among which were a former Local Government Inter-Relation National Committee Chairman of Oodua People’s Congress, member and ex officio National Oodua People’s Congress, member, Lion’s Club international, Fellow member of Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (IPWA), Senior Fellow of Chartered Institute of Public Resource Management and Policies (CIPRMP) Ghana.
Prince Amb. (Dr.), who is happily married and blessed with children, has a number of companies, where many people have tasted his philanthropic gestures.
Among his companies are, Adedipe Adedas and Company Sevices Limited, Adedas and Company Global Services Limited, Adedas Security Services Limited, C E O Adedas Estates and Adedas Development Foundation.
He said: “The word trust, humility, accountability development and empowerment easily comes to mind when one thinks about the qualities of a good leader.”
“To become a leader, one must gain the trust of the people due to the ability to deliver in a position of authority . He or she must be one whose antecedents inspire the confidence of the people and makes the citizenry comfortable under their leadership.”
“Closely related to the trust factor in leadership is the ability to demonstrate humility in service to people irrespective of their age, ethnicity, gender or other social classifications.”
“A leader must not only be seen to be humble, but must demonstrate the virtue by their words, body language and actions. A leader must be willing to uplift the standard of living of the people through shrewd management of available resources.”
“Interestingly, in Alimosho Local Government government Area, an individual encapsulates the above mentioned qualities with add-ons, such as being humble, loyal, courageous, detribalized and compassionate.That man is Prince Amb Dr Adedipe Dauda Ewenla.”
Part of his activities also include, a Volunteer Superintendent Nigeria Security Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), a Major in the Nigeria Legion, professional and Specialist Member of the Institute of Security, Nigeria (ISN), real Estate Developer’s Association of Nigeria, a Member of International Association of Chiefs of Police, a patron of Human Rights Advocacy of Nigeria.
