According to Oyewole Moses, the basic responsibility of an alumni association is to foster unity among old students and harness resources both within and outside the Association to develop their alma mata. The task of this administration is to build a strong  and solid foundation.

"With God on our side and commitment of all, it is assured that this administration shall achieve more for both the Association and our Alma Mata. Some of immediate tasks we intend to focus on are:

1. To revamp the administrative structure of the Association.

2. To put in place information and communication system for the Association.

7. To partner with the Institution in creating enabling environment for rendering more efficient service delivery to Alumni members and students and

8. To enhance socio-economic interaction among members of the Association through a well coordinated central information system.

All these and many more can only be achieved in an atmosphere of synergy. I, therefore, call on all members within and outside the country, to join hands with us in actualizing these lofty projects." He said

Also, he said his government will collaborate strongly with the state government for urgent intervention and to network closely with individuals in the corporate world and donor organizations for assistance. "What is obvious to us is that, if we are going to comfortably achieve and maintain our agendas, we must begin to think strategically about a sort of self-sustaining initiative. We must begin to think and act now!" He added.

He assured all members of the association of his readiness to work tirelessly in taking the association to greater heights, while he said his administration is opened to constructive criticisms and advice on all matters.
