Why Obinna Oriaku is best alternative to Abia APC Conundrum

Last week Vanguard Newspapers published 20 APC States that are enveloped in multiply legal issues and internal squabbles that have polarised the party into many divides.

Abia State before now is among the few states in South east many had expected opposition parties to grab ,basically due to the poor governance and under development of the state.

APC was the next destination as many big wigs in opposition clustered in APC until the internal crisis of congress elections  which produced  two major factions in the state,  led by Dr Uche Ogah and Chief Ikechi Emenike 

Efforts to quickly resolve these have failed as many Gubernatorial candidates like Alex Oti, Etigwe SAN and many others left for other parties. 

Every day, Abia APC members keep migrating either back to PDP or other parties. Last week the State publicity secretary Mr. Okey Ezeala resigned and at the verge of joining another opposition party in Abia .

Considering the protected legal issues and associated implications on the chances of the party both at the national and state level , we are recommending that the NWC adopt political solutions which will save the party from further hemorrhage by adopting Hon Obinna Oriaku the immediate past Commissioner of  finance Abia State , who incidentally came second in the chief Ikechi Emenike primary election as stated by the APC National office. 

Mr Obinna Oriaku is an ex bank who  demonstrated good leadership qualities while he served as Commissioner in Abia  He carried out reforms that till date has become a comparative gauge for successive commissioners. His tenure is today referred as the glorious era of Okezie administration. 

He is liked and adored by Abians for his bold decisions in challenging the status quo that resulted in his decision to leave the PDP for another platform that will enable him continue the rescue process of Abia .

Mr Oriaku is a nightmare to current leadership in Abia and he is a unifer as he is for all and not on any faction in Abia APC.

APC will be adding a new state in South east if the right choices are made at this critical time .
