The killing of Happiness Odeh, a student of  Moshood Abiola Polytechnic - MAPOLY, moved Ogun Central PDP Senatorial Candidate, Chief Olumide Aderinokun to visit her family at their Abeokuta residence on Monday morning.

Returning from a foreign trip in the early hours of Monday, Chief Aderinokun made the Odeh's family house his first stop where he met the parents of the young girl.

Happiness was a beauty queen in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and she was reportedly kidnapped on her way to a movie location in Ipara and the Ogun State government later confirmed that she has been killed by her abductors.

Welcomed to their house by Happiness' father, Chief Aderinokun consoled the crying mother and he promised the family his support in every capacity.

The Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom described the killing of the aspiring beauty queen and movie star as cruel and he charged the government to tackle the alarming rate of insecurity in Ogun State and Nigeria.

"I was moved deeply upon hearing the news of Happiness' death because she is a young girl pursuing her education and also trying to add additional skills to her life through beauty pageant and movie making," Chief Aderinokun told the bereaved parents.

"This is not the first kidnapping case we are getting in Ogun State, this government need to do better in making our state safe for everyone. I'm really sorry for your loss and I pray God comfort you and rest of the family."
