ODSG THANKFUL ON FG SOCIAL INTERVENTION PROGRAMMES.

Ondo State Deputy Governor who is also the Chairman of Ondo State Emergency and Management Agency ( OSEMA ), Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Monday on behalf of the Agency appreciated Federal Government for it's various intervention programmes which indigenes of the State has been beneficiaries.

The federal government intervention programmes are true service which is the hallmark of effective leadership, the Deputy Governor said.

Aiyedatiwa made these declaration while receiving the Permanent Secretary, Federal Capital Territory Administration, Mr Olusade Adesola and his team who were in his Office for the presentation of 30 tons of Garri ( about 400 bags of 25kg ), for onward delivery to beneficiaries in the State.

"What the Federal Government has done is a clear demonstration of the love Mr President has for all the states of the federation" , declared Aiyedatiwa.

"This is a clear outreach to touch the lives of the people in the various states of the country especially those people who are facing some kind of hardship" .

"It also reminds us that, Mr President is sensitive to the yearnings of the people  that is why he authorised the release of food materials from the food banks to the various states" , he said.

While thanking his visitors for the gestures, Aiyedatiwa said, "we want to thank you for coming and for the delivery of 30 tons of Garri to our state, this will go a long way to support some of the families in the State" .

"We are sending the appreciation of Ondo State Government being led by Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN to the Minister of FCT and federal government, that we are grateful on these gestures and we will ensure that these products gets to the needed beneficiaries".

While ensuring transparent management of the food items, the Deputy Governor said, "in Ondo State Emergency and Management Agency, we already have a long list of intended beneficiaries as we do receives letters of assistance from our people almost on daily basis" .

"So, it is going to be easier, very, very easy for us to be able to know how these products should be distributed" .

Earlier, Mr Olusade Adesola disclosed that his team were in the State to identify with the government and people of the State through the presentation and delivery of the food items to the state.

Receiving the visitors with Deputy Governor are, House of Assembly member representing Akoko-Southeast, Hon Rasheed Olalekan Elegbeleye, Press Secretary to Governor ( office of Deputy Governor ) Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, Administrative Secretary ( Office of Deputy Governor ), Mr Idowu Ojo, OSEMA Secretary, Mr Femi Obideyi, Special Assistant to Governor on New Media, Ladi Okunniga and others.
