Ogun Central PDP Senatorial Candidate, Chief Olumide Aderinokun has congratulated Senator Ademola Adeleke on his victory as the newly-elected Governor of Osun State and he described the feat as a signal for the party's imminent triumph in the 2023 general elections.
Chief Aderinokun expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the elections that took on Saturday, with praises for the electoral body - INEC, security agencies and the people for taking a bold step to defend their choice for light in the state.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Taiye Taiwo on Sunday, Chief Aderinokun stressed on the significance of PDP's latest victory for the people of Ogun State.
"I'm excited with my party's victory, the Peoples Democratic Party and Senator Ademola Adeleke because he is a man who is ready to deliver for his people," Chief Aderinokun said.
"INEC were on top of their job, same as the security officials who ensured an hitch-free process that gave people confidence to make their decisions without any intimidation.
"There are a lot of lessons for every stakeholder to learn from, most especially Ogun State because the people are fed up of incompetence and unfulfilled promises under Dapo Abiodun.
"The message from the people of Osun State is very clear, there is no room for failure after four years in government.
"With PDP’s victory and Senator Adeleke's readiness to make Osun State, I can assure that Ogun State is next in line for the people's mandate with the PDP."
