Oluwaseun Adebowale advises youths to shun social vices

ABEOKUTA — A grassroots politician and sport promoter, Hon Oluwaseun MaticoSF has yesterday advised youths across the state to shun social vices like kidnapping, robbery, cultism, and violence which have led many to the path of destruction.

He gave the advice while granting a personal interview with Amebo Newspapers NG in his hometown, Obafemi-Owode local government in Ogun state. 

Hon Oluwaseun Adebowale said; “We are in an era where youths are seeking for a better life at all cost, not considering the risk involved.
“There is no harm in seeking for a better future, but it should be done with all sense of decency. Shun all social vices like kidnapping, robbery, cultism, violence and illegal migration which have led many vibrant youths to the path of destruction."

Furthermore, he said education is the bed rock of children’s future therefore the state goverment should do more in this regard, adding there is need to build the education foundation of the pulpils/students to make them achieve their goals in life.

Adebowale used the opportunity to appeal the the state goverment to pay primary school teachers salary up to date to encourage them to put in their best in the discharge of their duties.

According to him, “The education of our children is a thing of top priority in the state and I appeal to the state government led by our able Governor, Prince Adedapo Oluwaseun Abiodun mfr to do well in this regard.”

He commended the state government for the visible transformation projects in the social infrastructure sector to further enhance the standard of living of the dwellers of Ogun state. 

Conclusively, he saluted the working spirit of the executive chairman of Obafemi-Owode local government, Hon. Ambassador Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina for managing the limited resources in the council to executive massive projects to touch the lives of the residents directly and positively.
