"Our state is bleeding, we need to save Ogun State, the weight of our experience, qualifications and character should be check mate, as I will like to emerge as the next state governor through the platform of Peoples Democratic Party.

"There is poverty in the land, people are jobless, all these thing need quick response as our state deserves better and we can do better".

He said "the purpose of my entire being is because I believe that the best way to worship God is to serve humanity, I prefer to serve humanity to the last breathe in me and I want to serve humanity by working as the governor of Ogun State to make life better and easier for all".

Earlier, in his remarks, the PDP Chairman in Ogun State, Hon. Sikirulai Ogundele said the party is open for all eligible aspirants to contest.
