Labour Party LP, has congratulated Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on his 85th birthday anniversary today 5th of March, 2022.
According to Comrade Gentleman Arabambi Abayomi,National Publicity Secretary, Obasanjo stands out any day in any gathering on any platform. General Obasanjo has an unequaled honour of ruling Nigeria as the head of Government as both a Millitary Head of State and as an elected Civilian President.
Again , he holds the record of being the first Millitary Head of State to hand over power to an elected President , a transfer done through an election acknowledged as free ,fair,conclusive and respected all across the World .
This "Birthday Boy" now 85 has always remained warm , open hearted,down - hearted and focused.
The story of the current world wide acknowledged democracy in our dear Nigeria owes its foundation to his National Leadership . The story of the Economic and Political growth of Nigeria can not be properly narrated without a very fair reference to OBJ .
It is this very same "Birthday Boy" who had the very unique honour of receiving the instruments of surrender from the warring Leadership of Biafra after the Civil War in Nigeria. Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is a toast in practically most of the Government Leadership circle across the World.
However , the most unforgettable and extremely noble service he rendered during his civilian Governance was exiting Nigeria from the World Bank debts... Paris Club , giving our dear Nigeria a clean bill of health in that sector.

OBJ is a household name in all parts of Nigeria.
