The grassroots calculus tempo of the campaign machinery of Mr. Olusola Otesile ambition to contest for the Ogun Central Senatorial seat on the platform of the All Progressive Congress-APC come 2023. Last Tuesday, he got the nod of the APC Apex leaders of the Obafemi Local Government. Amidst blitz of joy and gesture,the event which was organised to herald the Consultation parley held previous Monday in Siun at the instance of the APC leaders and Executive members of Ajura Ward for his Ward declaration of ambition.
Mr. Olusola Otesile who could not hide his feelings over the prompt attendance of the Apex leaders of the party in OBAFEMI Owode LG, reiterated his all-inclusive representation philosophy if voted into office.
Speaking earlier, a Frontline member of the APC Apex Leaders in the local government, Engr Babatunde Akeem Adesina described the parley as a gathering of leaders of thought in the politics of the local government area with commendable access in the politics of the state, and therefore charged the leaders to leave no stone unturned in the task of Mr. Otesiles's emergence as APC candidates and eventual winner at the 2023 General Elections . He advised Mr. Otesile to remain steadfast as he has started well, in order to end well. Also, Chief Jooda, an elder Frontline member of the Apex body highlighted the prospects of the all-inclusive representation philosophy and the gàins of the TIWA-N-TIWA Crusaders goals as could be coincidental for the good of the local government, area, upon the victory of Mr. Otesile, God willing. A member of the Apex Leaders and a leader of the party in Ajura Ward siezed the opportunity to inform the parley about the laudable Empowerment Programmes as already announced by Mr. Otesile at Ward Consultation parley held the previous Monday.
This piece of information triggered off jubilation among the Apex leaders, even as Mr. Otesile stood to swiftly inform on the Empowerment Programmes with further confirmation of intents in respect and with needed confidence. At this point, rain of hope and prayers rounded the session with exchange of pleasantries acros the house that fully comprised the notablle leaders namely Ambassador Sina Ogunsola the Executive Chairman of the Local Government,Chief Idowu Olude Chairman APC Obafemi Owode LG Chief Akingbade,Chief Mrs Hannah Isigiola APC Deputy State Women Leader,Chief Kola Sorinola,Alhaji Nurudeen Diyaolu Former Local Government Chairman,Alhaji AbdulFatai Mustapha a.k.a.Eruobodo, former Chairman of the Council, Hon. Akintonde Former chairman of the council among others.
The parley was rounded off with views and arrangements on Local GOVERNMENT Declaration at a date to be fixed to hold at the end of the National Convention.
