A leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Hon Bakre Omolola Olanrewaju has said that Gov Dapo Abiodun with his dedicated commitment to leaving the state far better than he met it is
already good enough another term come 2023.
Hon Bakre Omolola who is also eyeing seat of Ijebu-Ode State constituency at the State Assembly in 2023 made this disclosure while chatting with newsmen.
The APC leader popularly called Hon Boo in the political circle said that the essence of politics is to judiciously harness the resources of the state both human and capital to serve the greater good of the populace and this he said Gov Dapo Abiodun has exemplified since assuming power in May 2019.
She said "It's so obvious that Gov Abiodun deserve our applause and further support given his performance in critical sectors like education, health, road construction, housing, agric among others.
"I am particularly happy that some of our roads in and around Ijebu-Ode that have been given us so much concerns are receiving due attention of the Governor. Roads like Molipa express road, the almost completed Ijebu Ode-Epe road with flyover, Folagbade road, the abandoned Imowo Eleran among others.
"Luckily, the Governor has ensured that every part of Ogun State is witnessing exponential development. So, for a Governor that has shown this great capacity in leadership, it is just proper we allow him to continue his good works beyond 2023, after all, you don't disband a winning team".
Bakre said given the important roles the women usually play in Nigerian politics, she was poised to rally more women across the state to continue to support the good government of Prince Dapo Abiodun and to as well team up with other members of the ruling party for the governor's successful second term bid.
