ABEOKUTA — The local government chairman of Abeokuta South, Hon Ayodele Majekodunmi, Obafemi Owode local government, Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina, Hon Ayodeji Michael Shomide, the immediate past Chairman of Abeokuta South local government, Alhaji Nurudeen Ayorinde and other leaders of the council has rallied support for Olujimi Adekunle Desmond as he buried his father-in-law in Abeokuta today Friday, 8th of October, 2021. 



Chief Atanda Peter Owolabi aka Afi Suuru died at age 65 after brief illness, before his death he was the vice chairman of one of the popular cooperative in Abeokuta city. 

Olujimi Adekunle Desmond is one of the strong advocate of "Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda DACA", he also contested for Abeokuta South Local Government chairmanship which he lost to Majekodunmi Omolaja Ayodele at the party primaries. 

The Abeokuta South local government leaders and team players at the church program.

Majekodunmi during the church service promised to ensure palliative measures is done to the bad roads in Ijemo, Abeokuta.
Also, Ayodeji Micheal Shomide vowed to assist the chairman of Abeokuta South local government to present the roads and other needed social amenities to Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun mfr. 

Ogunsola, the Apesin of Ijemo land, and the chairman of Obafemi Owode local government said he would use his position to develop Ijemo land, Abeokuta.

Some local government chairmanship aspirants present are, Toyosi Enilolobo, Dare Dre, Taiwo Kelani Kelat, Mustapha Kodaolu Olajide MKO.
Some of the Lions Members who attended the burial activities are Lion Dare Ajayi, Lion Olaokun Oluwaseun also known as Wonder among others.

The party reception was well attended by lovers and families of the late Chief Atanda Owolabi at Lantoro High School, Oke-lantoro, Abeokuta.
