APC Confirms LG Chairmen Ahead Of State Executive Election In Ogun

The All Progressive Congress, APC in Ogun State has confirmed the authenticity of the twenty local government chairmen ahead of the state executives election slated for Saturday 16th of October, 2021. 
The local government chairmen were inaugurated to be able to participate in the Saturday 16th of October 2021, state executives election.

Meanwhile, the screening of the candidates to participate in the forthcoming, state executive election will start immediately after the inauguration of the newly elected local government chairmen. 
The caretaker executives of the State All Progressive Congress were said to have resigned from their positions 

In attendance during the inauguration was Hon Ohu who lead the national delegates to witness the local government swearing in ceremony.

He equally commisserate with the father of the governor, Pa Adesanya Abiodun, Biyi Durojaiye as he urged the party faithful to observed a minute silence to honour the deceased.

"I am very happy to tell you that the approved  Chairman and Secretary to conduct the state executives congress are here presently." He said.

The Senior Special Adviser on Politics to Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, Rt Hon Tunji Egbetokun while addressing the newly elected officers of the party, called the chairmen of the local government one after the other for special recognition by members of the party.

"As from now on, your duties jas started to manage our part, All Progressive Congress APC, tomorrow according to the guideline of the party authorize you as the authentic local government chairmen to perform your duties at the election respectively, while we swear you all in alongside with the state executives and ward chairmen in the 236 wards of the state." Ohu added. 

Chief Bode Mustapha, who recognise the elders forum at the event, advises the local government executives to be loyal to the party in the absence of no faction, .... No faction can win election, 

He appealed to them to stretch their hands to other aggrieved members to ensure the party is in accord.

While speaking with the media on behalf of the confirmed local government chairmen, Alhaja Faidat Akintunde Sarumi express satisfaction over the conduct of the poll and promises to bring the party members together for the progress of the party.

"I will try and bring everybody together, Abeokuta North will experience new era as I shall carry all leaders and the followers along together in one voice, APC is going to win in 2023, no faction and we are going to win all election in the next presidential and gubernatorial election." ALHAJA Faidat Akitunde
