Foundation Reaches Out To 200 Less Privileged In Ogun

A popular foundation has reached out to two hundred Widows in Aboekuta, the Ogun State capital.



The founder of the foundation, Mrs  Oluyinka Adewoye, disclosed this to newsmen in Abeokuta.

She said that the foundation started about 4years ago and it has helped a lot of people in the state.


She said "what we do is to reach out to the less privileged, our focus is on widows and school Children who are not capable to fund their education. We understand that government can not do it alone so that is why we are trying all out best to support the government.






''Over time We have been able to go to several communities to meet with the less privileged, women and widows in the society. We helped in health care service, medication and empowerment training, Touching  lives  positively, in the kind.of economy we are, we noticed that a lot of   people need support a lot of people need care .

''Our mission is to alleviate poverty among people and to make them smile.

''We started in Lagos, we have been to Makoko, we have been to masha , we have been to Bariga, we have been to Mushin, recently in Abeokuta, we reached out to less privileged where we  have it at the Women development center in Abeokuta at Oke ilewo. Some don't even have paracetamol, so we have been helping people. Our aim is to make people happy.

''We reach out to over two hundred widows in Abeokuta. We had full days activities with them. We had free medical consultation, fee medication, free Gifts,Free Skill Acquisition Programme.

''In the nearest future, we are looking up to go across all the States in making people smile'' she added
