The former Chairman of Ogun State Council and politician of note, Chief Laide Oropo is reportedly dead.
According to source, Chief Laide Oropo, a socialite in his days was the talk of the town, Evergreen musician Ebenezer Obey dedicated one of his albums to him due to his popularity, he was said to have died on Sunday, August 1st after brief illness.
He would be buried according to Islamic rites on Monday at his Ijebu-Ode residence, Ogun State.
